SBOCA Grants in 2024

In 2023, the St Bernard's Old Collegian Association proudly supported four Old Collegians through the SBOCA Grant Program - we are looking forward to continuing the tradition in 2024!
 

Mr Simon Vitelli (SBOC 2019) who received a Global Gateway Grant in 2023 sat down with us to share his experience and the importance of the support received from SBOCA.

The 2024 SBC Foundation's Gala Dinner, incorporating inductions into the Hall of Fame is locked in for Friday, 3 May at the State Library Victoria.

This year, we have the privilege of inducting two highly accomplished gentlemen into the Hall of Fame

Deputy Premier Mr Ben Carroll MP, who has always championed our local community and continuously works to improve upon it.

Mr Don McKenzie, the only Old Collegian to coach at the AFL level, after an illustrious AFL Career with Footscray, returned in 1978 as head coach.

In what promises to be another memorable event celebrating our community, please join us for this night of exellence.

Join us for an insightful morning at our upcoming Business Breakfast featuring the brilliant minds behind Spatium Capital, Jesse Moors and Nicholas Quinn.

🔹 Jesse Moors, a master of international business, is known for his expertise in identifying market trends and capitalizing on herd mentality. His strategic approach has been pivotal in the success of Spatium’s investment strategies.

🔹 Nicholas Quinn, with his background in finance and economics, brings a unique perspective influenced by physics and mathematics to the world of fund management. His innovative quantitative strategies have significantly contributed to Spatium’s growth.

The St Bernard's Old Collegian Association has been hard at work to organise a brand-new event for our Old Collegian community!

The inaugural SBOCA Bowls Day has been moved to Friday, April 5

This is sure to fill up fast as we have a limit of 32 teams, so be sure to get your team together and booked early!

We are devastated with the news over the past weekend that Old Collegian Antony Maugeri (SBOC 2019) has passed away at 23 years old.

Antony passed away after attending the Pitch Music Arts Festival in Mafeking, as an aspiring DJ, events such as these were extremely important to him to continue to grow in his field.

Please keep the Maugeri family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this extremely difficult time.
