The Junior and Senior Book Club members enjoyed a lunch in the TLAB Library on Wednesday, 21 June to celebrate the end of term. It was great to have the groups come together for a meal together. Some of the comments on what the students gained from Book Club were:

“Reading books that I might not have considered reading”

“Meeting and making new friendships with like-minded people”

“Making reading fun”

“Listening to other peoples views and opinions on books when we discuss and analyse the book as a group”

“The books and the food”

“The Library and Book Club become an adventure”

The Library at the Essendon and Resurrection House campuses will be closed over the June/July school holidays.
