The Year 12 2025 Investiture assembly was a momentous occasion filled with tradition and significance, marking the beginning of an exciting year for our senior students. The event commenced with the House Tie Ceremony, a symbolic gesture that holds great importance in our school community. Year 11 representatives from each House received the commemorative tie from two Year 7 students of the same House. This ritual not only signifies the passing of leadership from one year level to the next but also embodies the spirit of unity and continuity within our school.

Following this, the induction of the 2025 Year 11 and Year 12 Student Council took place, with Dr Davies leading the investiture. The College made special note to acknowledge the members of the council who were unable to attend due to their participation in either the Japan Study Tour or Art History Study Tour. This recognition highlighted the diverse and enriching opportunities available to our students, showcasing the global perspective and experiences that our school values.

Another significant moment of the assembly was the introduction of the College Portfolio Captains for the year 2025. These student leaders will play a pivotal role in representing various aspects of our school community, contributing to its growth and development throughout the year.

The highlight of the assembly was the inaugural formal address by the 2025 College Captain. The speech was a powerful and inspiring testament to the leadership and vision that the new captain embodies, setting the tone for the year ahead and instilling a sense of pride and purpose in all students.

Overall, the Year 12 2025 Investiture assembly was a celebration of leadership, tradition, and the promising future that lies ahead for our school. It served as a reminder of the values we hold dear and the potential for growth and achievement that each student possesses.
